Fuel gauge problem
I inadvertently posted over on the Super Duty forum, should have been in here. The fuel gauge on my '03 f250 6.0 has been malfunctioning for about 30,000 miles. It drops to empty whenever it feels like it. I went to the dealership, and they charged me the $50 co-pay, but did not fix it because they said they could not duplicate the malfunction. I revisited the dealership, now they say they are experiencing a number of similar issues on the 6.0s, so they want me to put in a bottle of Techroline, and this supposedly will solve the problem...only problem is that they have been out of Techroline for over a week, and I can't find it locally.
Two questions then:
1. Anyone having a similar problem, and will this product solve it?
2. Anyone know how to get a bottle or two of Techroline?
