new truck

Found a truck. Checked it out. And took it home with me.

needs some work as always.
need tailgate, body panels for bed, and the steering is pretty loose.

this is what my wife wants

I've seen trucks like this before....(specifically the front drive line) is that what one would call a "divorced" transfer case, beings how the frong drive line is like a mile long. lol...mine is about half that size.

Yes thats a divorced transfer case. THey came in the 73-77.5 4wd F-250s. These are what they call highboys. From 77.5 on the transfers were married to the tranny such as you have.

fuel tank is behind the seat, look on the cab behind the door.

Looks like someone must have welded up the bed fuel door(s) since the body came from an F-100. Even the original beds for a highboy had a bed knockout for a fuel filler.
