I need more power
Well I have a 99 f250 with a 5.4 and am in need of more power, but dont want to sell the truck. I was wondering what is the best way to get more power, wheather it be a programmer or major motor parts. The truck has 4:10 gears and TRUE dual exhaust so that is taken care of and its time to move to major hp. price isnt an issue so and info would be appreciated, thanks

He could put a charger on the stock 5.4..
The L and HD motors are built for boost and can handle over double the boost of a stock 5.4.
If money wasn't an issue.... a Common Rail Cummins would be my choice.....moderately modded at least.

A cummins swap would be your best bang for your buck.
A SC would be sufficient, but as stated previously the 5.4 from a Lightning would be killer. I always wanted a 03-04 Cobra motor in my truck. My boss' is about 700hp and 600tq and I think it would fit nicely in my rig. I'd love to drop 2 cylinders to pick up 400 hp.
