Well I was looking for engine part numbers numbers on my 67 with the 352.
So I took off a valve cover to see numbers on the top off the head,
then I figured might as well clean up the valve cover
then figured I should get the passenger side valve cover cleaned up purrdy too
then the carb came off for some reason.
Then the intake fell off
right now I got the antifreeze draining so I can take a peak at how my valves and piston look.
reminds me of the time I had a good running truck with a small exhaust leak at the manifold, so I fixed the manifold and now that it was quieter i could hear my lifters clacking so much for that good running engine I thought I had HAHA
Yes, there isn`t any 2 barrell aluminum intakes made unfortunately.
One truck I bought came with an adapter to go from a 4 barrell intake to a 2 barrell carb.
On my 71 F350 I got a deal on a new Edlebrock aluminum intake so I bought it just to get away from the heavy cast iron one. I think I`ll put it on the 67 Fairlane soon, I`d love to get aluminum heads but they`re abit too expensive.
