Where does this go/

While working on my truck today I heard the vacumn pump running and i found a grey vac. hose off but I cannot find where it goes!
The end of the line is circled in red. Can someone tell me where it goes?
My truck is an 03 6.0L F-250

That vacuum line goes on your heater control valve. You probably knocked it off when you hooked up that oil bypass.

It is inline with your heater hose coming out of the firewall.

What is the line going into your oil fill tube? What does it do?

The line into his oil fill cap is for an oil filter bypass setup.

It is just toward the center of the truck of your oil filler cap. Under the Intercooler tube

Now that would have been easy. I do not have that piece. My hose goes from the heater core to the front of the motor.

Any ideas here???????

Does your A/C get Cold? Without that valve you should not have cold A/C unless your heater core have been bypassed. Then you will not have heat in the winter.

I would think that at sometime the hose or valve went bad and someone just put a straight piece of heater hose in. I think that hose and valve is a one piece dealer part. To fix it right I would think you have to get the right hose and valve from a dealer and put it back the way it should be. Your A/C will get Ice Cold then. Maybe a tech can jump in on the one piece deal, I'm not sure. Good Luck

Want me to tell you where to put it?

You have an 03 which does not have a heater shut-off valve, here is a pic from my 03 to see where the line you have might go. Click Here
