I can't tell if I'm reading fluid level in the pan or picking up fluid from the tube.
Checing with engine warm and in neutral the fluid looks pretty skipmpy on the stick. If I dip the stick into a quart of fluid in the can I get bact a large amount of fluid on the stick.
If it's been in there a while it is probably super thin so it doesn't look like much! If you check it multiple times and get consistent readings you are probably looking at the actual level. Try it with the truck cold start it up in the morning put it in reverse move 2' put it in drive move 2' Then check it those 2 holes on the dipstick are for checking the fluid when it is cold! If its down on those then you are probably okay!
