Rear Tank Fuel Pump Problem
I've got a '92 F-350 4x4 460 with dual tanks. The rear tank fuel pump quit working so I replaced it, the sender and the filter. It ran fine for about 150 miles. I let the truck set for a few weeks while I went on vacation and then tried to start it yesterday. It wouldn't start on the rear tank and I had to switch it to the front. Once started it runs fine on the front tank but it won't run on the rear tank. The sender is working but apparently not the pump. Why would the rear fuel pump quit working after it set for a few weeks? It worked great until I went on vacation.

Switch to the rear tank, and ground the wire in the eec1V test connector for the fuel pump. This bypass's all the controls and goes directly to the pump. If the rear pump does not come on, check for voltage at the rear pin connector. There are 4 wires in the connector, 2 for the sender and 2 for the pump. The pump wires are the larger gauge
