6.0 Cooler Install

I am installing a 2003 6.0 transmission cooler on my 2000 7.3 psd. It looks like it will bolt straight on with the hoses facing down. Is this how you guys are installing this cooler or should I turn it over so that the lines are facing up.Thanks for your help.

That's how you have to install it for the factory mounts to work.

Then I assume there's no problem pushing the fluid in from the bottom? I'm not opposed to turning it over and remounting if makes the cooler function more efficiently.

No, no problems, I did need some 90* fittings for the lines right out of the cooler to get the lines turned without kinking them.
