Airbag Code 12
1998 Explorer XLT. Airbag light flashes 12 on start-up, and then stays continually lit. Code 12 I found to be "low battery voltage". Everything else seems fine, as far as the battery and alternator are concerned. Any ideas...? Ammeter gauge in cluster reads normal. No indications (slow cranking, etc) to indicate battery issue.
