i was talking to my dad today and we were wondering how you ajust the valves on these engines? i have always let the auto shop do it for me. i think it may be helpful to know in the future.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 06-Jan-03 AT 07:15 PM (EST)]Stock valve train is hydraulic on most all FE's, which means your only adjustment is going to be longer or shorter pushrods.
Theoretically you shouldn't have to adjust hydraulic systems like these unless something is bending or a distance is changing for some reason (i.e. valve recessing).
If you really need them, adjustable rocker arms are available.
