Hello all; I'm new to Ford/Merc, and this site. I've always been a (the bad "C" word) guy, but 3 weeks ago ran into 2 of the coolest truck I've ever seen. One is a '61 Merc M-100 unibody, and the other, a '63 Ford F-100 unibody (for parts, although there isn't much wrong with it). I got them for a retardedly low price for both, and intend to build the Merc for GO, and the Ford for SHOW. I have just started on the Merc, (a nice 500 + HP, 460 for him). I will be hopefully learning the Ford ins/outs, with the help of all of you, along the way, and should be spending most of my time in the classics section of the site. Thank-you all for the welcome, and talk to you soon.
Welcome to FTE heavy d460,
Merc trucks are cool and so are the old Merc cars. Have fun with the project, and there are many people here who own other makes of vehicles, such a GM and Dodge too for that matter.
We just like to make fun of the GM guys!
Fords are just plain better!
Howdy & Welcome to the site and the Forums,You have come to the right place for help the folks here are always glad to. Good people and good info. Good luck with your projects can't wait for some pictures.
