HELLLLLLLLLLLLP so heres the scoop i didnt really get to look at how the rear bumper mounts were intstlled originally bc the toltal lenght of all of them put toghther was 4 inches so any one k ow exacty how the are mounted to the truck
The flat part of the angle iron brackets mounts along the frame /w two bolts, and the flat part of the other end parallel to the ground mounts to the bumper itself. If it's a 98 or later then they also have two braces that go 45 degrees from the brackets to the corners of the bumper.
I had to change my brackets after somebody bumped into me, (really slowly). I didn't get new ones, me and my friend just heated the old ones up with an acetylene torch and bent them back into shape with a vice. Looks like new. I got a class III hitch receiver for towing after that, though, because I didn't trust the bumper ball-mount.
