Is everyone having shifting issues with spartan tunes? Do you know if they resolved the issue yet? I just ordered one and i am looking at the stock plus, ultra street economy, and highway economy. I am looking for a little firmer shifting, but nothing too harsh. Thanks for all your help. Does anyone regret their purchase?
Stock plus is an excellent tune hands down. As far as UE highway and Agg/Street there is some definite shifting issues. I have been trying to get my agg/street shifting worked out, but getting in touch with Matt has been next to impossible. Don't regret the purchase, but the customer service needs some attention.
Yeah, i ordered one over the phone and have not heard from anyone since. I tried emails and calling. How long did it take for it to come in after you ordered it?
I just spoke with Matt on the phone. He's been out of pocket working on a truck and will be back on this afternoon sometime. Please be as patient as you can. He's covering a lot of bases and a lot of miles these days. Things take more time than alloted sometimes, but I guarantee he'll get to you as soon as is physically possible.
Patience folks; I had to wait 2 weeks to get my SCT due to the fact that I gave them the wrong address. The "shipping lady" called me on a Saturday and told me it was returned. I gave her the correct address and I had it on the next Wednesday at no extra charge. Thus, the customer service is outstanding. Once you get your SCT you call and go from there. You will be taken care of. It is no secret that there is sometimes a wait but it is well worth it. As far as shifting goes, I have ran the stock plus and the ASE tunes. I have had no shifting issues and am more then satisfied.
npccpartsman, Thanks for following up with me. Matt and I are going to work out the kinks with the tune. We just spoke and are going to try a new shifting stragety for the agg/street.
A suggestion would be to have an away message for Matt. That way when he is traveling we all know and can feel at ease. Just a thought.

yes true, the guy is so busy with everyone else, i dont think he ever gets to even enjoy his own truck anymore. his mailbox FILLS up literally every single day. so just be patient with him , send him a reminder email, it is possible your other responses have gotten lost in the shuffle.
i just swithec to ultra comp, and it shifts HARD ! !
which i dont mind, i built my tranny and converter to handle it, trust me you definitely know when it shifts gears !! (ps, i informed matt i wanted a firm shift, so dont think it is because of poor tuning)
