I must have deleted your email that you sent on 8/30/07 and came across it today(I can't send emails on this sight because I haven't been a member long enough). The 239 that I have was in a '55 that had sitting for 20 years. The person who owned it would turn it over twice a year(it was running when they put it in the shed). I turned it over and tried to start it but would not start. so I took the valve covers off and the valves were sticky and bent a couple of push rods. I bought new push rods, rebuilt the carb, new points,condenser, and plugs. Changed oil and anti freeze. Pulled it down the road and it started. I am putting a 351 in mine so I took the motor and transmission out. Just looking for an offer.
