I have been a member on this site for a few weeks and have been offering some advice which I hope has helped. So, I'm 17 and have had a '70 Bronco Sport for about a year now. My dad (mustang mechanic for almost his whole life) bought it for $1000.00 and it was a pretty rusty. The hard top was no good so we got a new one. We have since taken the whole thing apart and have bought a D44 and a few other odds and ends from Jim Creel at Wild Horses 4x4. Some of which include a 3.5" lift kit with dual front shocks and new body bushings.
The whole frame and both axles as well as some brackets have been baked and powdercoated black. We are going to put power steering on the truck. We pulled an NP435 out of an old ford pickup at Pick N Pull and are currently in the process of taking the Dash board out to send the body to the powdercoater to have it baked.
So, if anyones interested, I will post some pictures when its done and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.
I'd like to see how the np435 goes in, i plan on swapping my 3/tree tranny to an np435 with either my stock dana 20, or maybe running a 208 behind the np435, i'm also 17 by the way, i have a 67' 80% restored that was crawler written all over it!
