clutch/start switch???
on my 1985 F-350, you really have to mash the clutch to the floor to get the engine to crank over. sometimes, you have to mash the clutch to the floor a few times to get it to crank. does this sound like the clutch start switch is going bad? the clutch is fine other than that.

I really do not like the clutch-start switches (in an emergency you can move a vehicle pretty far with a starter). I sweezed under the dash on my '84 & found the switch & bypassed it. At first I just made a jumper wire on the plug, but eventually I just cut the plug & connected the wires. Redneck, but it works.
