The wife and I are probably going to be at the Rib Cookoff in Reno this weekend.
If anyone else is heading that way, post up and I'll join ya for a beer and couple o' ribs.
Or maybe a couple o' beers and a rib? http://www.gotorenotahoe.com/rt25/ribCookOff/

Hey Tom, new 5'r eh? What flavor did you decide on?
We have a new fifth wheel too. Maybe we can meet up somewhere this fall, or next summer some time, for a camping trip.
Give me a pm with details on your purchase. Mine is in my signature.
I went to a BBQ in Parumpt about 7 or 8 years ago (i think it was about that long ago), with the local Parumpt volunteer fire dept, when I was there on a fire assignment with the agency I worked for at the time. It was certainly a hoot! Great hospitality, and darned good people there. One of the volunteers had just slaughtered a steer. A HUGE steer. And brought tons of great steaks to glutten on. I forget the name of the steer, but he did have a name. What ever it was, he tasted very good.
Anyone else interested in meeting up in Reno, that's cool. I understand that most of ya'll are from Southern Nevada, so it's understandable if most can't make it. No big deal, the wife and I are going. Just thought that just in case, it might be a good opportunity to meet up with some of the FTE bretheren.

Thanks for the invite! There are so many things that go on this weekend. We'll be at the Cantaloupe Festival & Churchill Country Fair. It's also the County Fair in Elko as well! I work in Sparks, so I probably will sneak over there for lunch today, though!
Looks like I wont be there on Saturday (today). Got stuck here at work on overtime...
Gonna be there Sunday. I'll wear a Ford Trucks ball cap (the one on the cat in my avitar). If I hear a "hey, are you ol-fords?", I'll know I am in the company of fellow FTE members.
Regards
p.s. I'll be the guy with BBQ sauce all over my face and shirt, and a beer in my hand.
