I was running my rat bagged 390 2v a bit since it's sitting and
I noticed the oil pressure goes up after a couple minutes, not too
high, but way higher than ive ever seen it go. Usually the needle
sits on the edge of the low side. Theres no busted valve seals floating around, is something stuck? does pcv malfunction cause this?
Dory, I'm not sure if you are cranking it while sitting and then shutting it down. If so my theary is that it is cold, (oil thicker) so it's going higher. If you are out running the truck and noticing it you may have a blockage in the pump or filter area.
