At what point does it come to life?

As I recall there were some post about a certain number miles and or hours at which point the V-10 would come to life. By come to life I mean offer up an all new feel of TQ and Power.
I just turned 5,000 miles on the truck and it now feels as if it has be come alive. I don't know how to describe it other than to say if feels freed up and wants to fly. This thing has gone from a nice F-250 Superduty truck to a Very nice, Fun to drive, power in a flash, hunker down and do it, see ya later, get out of my way (unless you are a fuel pump), F-250 SUPERDUTY TRUCK.

Between 5 and 9 k on all my v10s seemed to be the tip point and yes it seems to me one day she was still sluggish and the next morning she was wide awake! very strange behavior...it has been theorized that FoMoCo has some PCM code limiting the max power until 150 +/- hours on the clock... I never monitor the Hr meter so I have no evidence on this but I sort of doubt it.... Ford is not known fro being that savvy or smart so I think the 150 hour thing is a myth and the 5 to 9 k just tends to coincide with that many hours.... but I admit I do not really know
