Aef

Good day all
I am new to the PSD world, and I have been doing alot of reading on the new 08 SD. My one question to who ever may have an answer, is I have just put on an cold air intake namely AEF, but am wondering if I will harm my turbos in no time or if this is my one and only safe mod to do. Other then that, I love my truck alot and it is doing what I bought it for so far. I have just over 3000 mile on it. I average 17 MPG below 65 MPH. anything over that it just sucks it back. in the city it is a little hard on fuel. I have never noticed regen mode yet but I have seen the odd time my fuel mileage going down the drain. But most of all, the sevice adviser at the dealership told me to follow the maintenance to the tee and over all there will be no issues. On the side of the turbos gaining access, the shop has already had to have to body off frames. pluse i heard of one idiot not putting in ULSD in his rig. Instead he decided to put ordinary fuel in, well guess what, it is costing him close to 10 large to fix last I heard. however any info on the cold air intake and the pros and cons to it for the 08 would be greatly appreciated

I don't want to poo on your day, but 1 guy has already had his engine warranty denied because of intake and exhaust mods, but no chip.
