Power steering pressure switch
96 Explorer 5.0 --- Have to exert much effort to turn steering wheel when moving slowly as in parking. My service manual mentions a switch that maintains engine speed for low speed steering manuevers. Does anyone know where this switch is located?

It will be on the power steering pressure hose that runs from your power steering pump down to your steering gear. It's probably not very easy to see considering how they jam that 5.0 into the engine compartment...
