Frame components

Does anyone sell individual frame components for mid 50s F100s? I'm dismanteling my 56 for restoration, and I found the rear-most crossmember has been tweaked pretty good ... might help explain why the bed looked lopsided.

I've got one for an F-250, but I don't think that'll help you if you're doing a 100... sorry. ;P

Mine is 'tweeked' as well, but I'm takin one off my parts truck... IF mine is 'less' tweeked than yours you are welcome to it. PM me and I'll take some pix if you want... I haven't taken it off yet, I have taken the one off the parts truck.
It's a 53 f100.

If it`s not too bad you maybe able to straighten it. Once the cross member removed from the frame it`s a lot more manageable and easier to fix or to have it straightened in a press.

Unless you are building a restored truck you could replace it with a correctly sized steel channel or tube.

For the 53-56 years all the models F100 - 350 used the same frame, so all the crossmembers interchange. There were doublers added to the 350 frame for strength.

Well I gave it several good smacks with a 5-pound sledge and it's straighter, but if someone wants to parts with a really straight one, I'll gladly take it.

I need a front crossmember for a 54 F250. it was originally a 6cyl. I need the crossmember that supports the front motor mount on a 292 Y block

not sure if the crossmember for the 292 v8 front motor mount is a duplicate of the front crossmember.Mine was a 6cyl. so there is no second crossmember to compare it with, maybe NumbersDummy could help. thats what I am looking for. F250 RED
