I have the aluminum rims that came on the 2000 X Limited. It's an upstate NY truck, so the rims have some corosion on them from salt. Suprisingly the body doesn't have any rust. I love the look of the stock rims. I'm thinking of having them dipped or fixed. Is there a place to go look to get this done, or where is the best place to find some replacements. The truck looks like $1million, but the rims are shot when you get up close.
The only way I would go to aftermarket rims is if I do a lift and do some aggressive tires, but I'm not in the market for all of that yet.
Also....what's the best "do it yourself" undercoat that i can use? I'm just trying to be proactive. I'd like to get a few years out of this truck.
