well i went to the dumps today with ALOT of crap in the back of the excursion..on the way out i thought i would weigh the ex on the scales.....she is a whopping 8,740lbs..what a fatass she is..anyways thought id share with you guys..
Seems over a 1000 lbs too heavy. Just how accurate is this scale? Most scrapyards will weigh you as you enter, then weigh you on the way out to see how much you dropped off, but are not very accurate at measuring the actual weight of the vehicle.
IIRC the excursions are supposed to be around 7200lbs? Few hundred more lbs for the diesel?
when I go to the dump my empty weight is 10k w/ ~1800lbs trailer & 1/2 tank of diesel, so according to their scales that puts me at 8200lbs. see sig for vehicle details...like 1 said the scales are designed to measure the difference in weight not the real weight of the "item" being weighed...
im sorry i figured some of you knew i had that big ugly silver excursion..44in tires..17in lift.. etc etc... i got the ticket saying 8,740lbs..i assumed i would be around there..my gas tank was full but i was empty..just me and nothing else...

HAH! all that crap and you only added 540lbs not bad if you ask me.....you have a good looking truck, not my taste but it looks good. I want to do lift and wheels/tires just not "extreme".
