How much air should you keep in your tires on a F250 crewcab, shortbed when not towing and also how much should you keep in the tires when you are towing?
This will also get you close once you know the loads: *verify this yourself*
Axle Weight / Number of Tires on axle / Max Tire Weight Rating * Max Tire Pressure = Running Tire Pressure
say rear axle = 4200lb at scale, srw, max tire weight 3250lb at 80 psi
4200/2/3250*80= 52 psi

Dang Potomac, that's a great one. I hate math, and even that's easy for me. Thanks.

Wow, that formula is great. I've been making a graph using the axle weight and the weight rating for the tires. Your way is a lot easier, you don't have to make a graph. I checked the numbers and they come out the exact same. Thanks.
