Will a bully dog power pup programmer that I bought for my 06 work on my 08? I returned the 06 back to stock before I traded it on the 08. I see on their website that product # 41562 is listed for the 6.0 and the 6.4. I never updated the programmer so I was wondering if it will work. I dont want to install it and the truck never work right again. Anybody tried it yet?

 

Usually bullydog has internet upgrades that allow you to use the programmer for later model vehicles. Just go to the Download Center of their website and you should find the upgrade on there. Check thru their version history to make sure that they have put the programming for the 08s on there, but if they have it available for the 08s it should be there(they should have it on there by now I would think).

 

If the part numbers match, you just need to upload the latest calibrations.

 

The part # for the 6.0l is 41566 and the # for the 6.4l is 41562 so yours will not work on the new 6.4l.
