I have been looking at a 1968 Mercury M-100 2wd truck for sale. I hesitate to buy it because i am worried about parts availability. The engine and rear end are from an 85 crown vic so thats no worry, but i am not sure about steering and front brake parts.
Are all steering and brake parts on the M-100 Interchangable with those of the Ford F-100?
Any other hard to find parts i should be concerned about? I plan to use the truck as a daily driver.
The Mercury trucks are Canadian made Ford trucks. AFAIK The only difference in them and the American made F series is the badging. Any part other than the Mercury or M100 should exchange fit.
Yep I agree the only diff is the badges, I have a 69' Mercury Cougar and just about all same year or so Mustang Parts inter change as far as the running gear is concerned.
