HVAC question
I have a '99 F-250 and when I put the AC on the max setting a hum develops in the ductwork. My guess is a valve not opening or closing completely. Any advice to fix this would be appreciated.

The air is cold and it is coming out of the correct vents. It seems like the door which is diverting the air to recirc vs bring in fresh air is hanging up. Do you know the best way to access that or a way to confirm the theory?

I have been able to check the actuator and it is working. The door is shutting completely and the noise seems to be coming from the fan and the loudness of the hum is determined by the speed of the fan. Can you tell me the best way to access the fan and either clean it or check for the cause of the noise?
