I twisted one of my sending unit lines while taking it off. ( can be seen here: http://i10.tinypic.com/6fr5unq.jpg ) What is the best way of fixing this? Should I cut it behind the twist, move the connector down the shaft and flare it?
Or can I cut it, hook up a compression/union fitting and a new length of pipe?
Does anyone know if they make pre-flared repair kits for this? I dont have a flare kit and have never flared before.. dont really want to learn on fuel lines if I dont have to.
I forgot to mention, this is a 88 chevy blazer, I was going to post in the 'other automotive' section but thought this was just as appropriate. Mods please forgive me if its in the wrong section
