Lift?
I just bought a 79 f250 351m! it runs great, but is in need of a little cosmetic work. I have wanted one of these since I was 5. I was looking around for a suspension lift. I have heard that people were basically changing the leaf springs. is that right and if so where would you find them? I was looking at going with about 6" and slapping on a set of 35" tires. what do you think?

On those older trucks, 33s fit with no lift, 4 up would be nice with 35s, 6 up would leave plenty room between the body and tires- This maybe what you are looking for though. Also check the galleries for trucks with similar lifts like the one you want, just to see if that is the direction you want to take.
I would go with all new springs, you can order custom spring rates/ heights from spring companies if need be.
