Hello FTE users. Newbe to the site and a PSD owner for almost a year and loving it!
My Crew Cab F250 4X4 is having some charging problems. I have replaced both batteries and the alternator and the system is still not charging. The battery light does not illuminate when I turn the iginition on and I have no voltage on the light green, switched power wire on the three pin plug at the alternator. I have checked the battery cables, as well as the Maxi-fuses and all checks good.
Bad ground? Sounds like you already replaced everything needed. Seems that the only thing left would be a bad ground somewhere that rattles loose when the engine is running, but sitting still had enough contact to start the truck and run everything. I would also check all the wiring for the alternator. Make sure nothing is loose, broken or cut.
