Extrude Honing

Hey Guys,

Do any of you know where to send an intake to to get Extrude Honed?

My lower on my 393 is way to restrictive and this is probably the easiest option for me.

What do you have for an intake? I don't know if a super polished finish will net you much more flow.

I haven`t heard of the term for a while.
Probably one of the engine rebuilders might know.

I was hoping that I would be able to open the runners up with use of some very abrasive media.

I have an EFI Edelbrock Performer Lower and a Custom box upper.



I suppose I could port it out manually as much as possible and look into the extrude honing to clean it all up after. If it is unable to remove moderate amounts of aluminum.

Ah that explains it. The Performer intakes were designed for stock engines and perform terrible on stroked ones. Just go ask MustangGT221 in the SBF engine section.

I think you will have to port it unless you step up to the Victor 5.8L lower but I don't know how well that will fit your heads since they have big ports.
