Help Gas Gauge Problems
Hi everyone im kinda new to this forum but you guys seem to have alot of knowledge about these trucks so im sure ill be getting to know you guys pretty good soon enough. Anyways i have a 73 F250 camper special (camper removed thank god) and ive just gotten done getting it road ready again and it runs like a top and everything is good except the gas gauge. It didnt work when i got it but i reached up behind the dash and there was like a printed circuit or something on the back of the gauge and when i messed with it the gauge worked and just recently it stopped working again and i havent been able to get it to start working, so im thinking that the sending unit is ok its the gause itself or something on the piece of plastic i meesed with back there i have searched high and low for a oem gauge but there no were to be found around here so any input at all is much appreciated because im goig to pismo beach for labor day and id like to have the gauge working by then thanks in advance
