Just made a trip from St Louis to Cornelius NC and back. With my 05 v10 3.73
we averaged 14.5 mpg both ways. I thought that was decent with the AC blowing through the mountains.

many cannot achieve that ever. It will improve as it is broke in. My 03 seemed to have jumped by .5 mpg around the 30K mile mark. Lifted, I have recently got 14.4 over 800 miles averaging 80. But it rides awesome at 80 with the tire/gear combo. My best pre-lift was right at 14.5 before it was broke in though.

That was at 70-72 mph. I get 10 around town.
