302 blown
I have a 1992 F-150 with a 302 that has 166000 miles on it. This motor is a screamer and i'll admit I pushed it too hard in 3rd gear trying to pull a hill. The motor had slowly been losing power for a while and it finally gave out. Blue smoke issues from the exhaust and the motor jumps erratically on idle. But in higher rpms it still runs, although with a significant loss in power. Does this problem sound like a burned ring, bad valve, or something else? I don't think I did anything like throw a rod, because the motor still runs. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
