Wouldn't it make sense, that if stuff like this actually worked, we wouldn't need to look for it on the internet? It should be right in your face. Another thing, if there was a bolt-on device that actually improved fuel economy, don't you think the OEMs would be all over it?
I argued this point to a salesman of one of these products at a county fair. The more I argued, the more the bystanders began to take my side. He finally gave up.
Did anyone see the November Diesel Power Mag yet. They claim to have tested this and it works.
Real scientific test, two tanks one with and one without do not a valid sample make.
I smell a product placement article.
Diesel Power, in general, is a good rag, but sometimes I wonder about their integrity. If this thing was so great, don't you think that there would be more on this.
Hot rod TV did a dyno pull with one and without on both prem and regular gasoline. Claimed the pull with the fitch used less fuel. Claimed made better power on the regular fuel and did so with less fuel consumed. Premium power was virtually unchanged wither way, but less fuel per hour than without.
What parts of the test that made it to the screen was not very scientific, IMHO.
I feel like those people in those commercials where the guy comes up and says "I am a wealthy dignitary from another country and I need to move a large amount of cash to this country, can I have your bank account #".
For some stupid reason this thing intrigues me. I might get one just to see for myself.
