Will it blow again?
Greetings,
My 4.2 was replaced at 155K Km (just under 100K miles) and is now approaching 200K Km.
Has anyone had a repeat performance on the bent rod / blown engine issue? Should I be looking for a new rig before I need to dish out the $4000 for another new longblock in 3 months?
Please advise. I have been watching these threads for a long time and cannot recall this being discussed.

I am in a similar situation
(Infact it is quite scary reading some of these posts because I have expierenced the EXACT same scenario - THIS SUCKS)
Are these things stable after a rebuild? Is the new Ford gasket worth a *****?
ANy other advice to a person about to rebuild thers?
