Cleaning ABS sensor?

Could someone give me a quick intro to cleaning the ABS sensor on the rear diff? Thanks

I believe it's a magnetic dwell sensor, so pull it off and hose down with solvent of your choice. Remove any metal particles and that's about all you can do.
