I looked into getting my leaf springs re-arched and adding leafs to them to raise it 2'' in front and rear. The price I was quoted was 889 for every thing installed.
Is this a pretty good price. I was really hopping to stay in the 500 range
You dont need to rearch your springs. Just buy new shackles.
I used to sell shackle kits. For two inches you can just replace the shackles. For more lift replace the front spring mount and shackle.
With this set up your truck will ride the same as stock.
I also know of a guy that makes shackle lifts up to ten inches.
I need new springs though or at least add a leaf. I have a ranch hand front bumper and it combined with the 7.3 engine is to much for the stock excursion springs. They are resting on the bump stops.
