Red face IP fuel line sequence

Well, I did a dumb thing yesterday. I pulled off 1 fuel line from the IP to the injector. No problem. Then I pulled another line off. Still no problem, it was on the opposite side. Then I pulled off 3 more lines without thinking about it till I was done. I was trying to get the screen off the back of the IP and needed more room. Well, now you see my problem. I still have the lines on the side of the truck that they came off of under the hood to keep them out of the weather. But I don't know which line goes from what location on the IP to which injector. I have a 1987 F250 Diesel without turbo.

holy catfish batman ... anyway, i do believe the number 2 line is on the 5 oclock position if standing in front of the truck. the lines will only fit in the respective cylinder. I am not sure of the firing order but you can start with that one and work around the pump head. the rotation is clockwise from the front. got it ... 1,2,7,3,4,5,6,8.

according to the book, the top at 11 o clock is #5 with top at 1 oclock being #6. Even numbers on driver side.
you most likely want to install lower lines first. just snug them up til you are moving to towards the top lines and tighten the lower ones with the wrench after the fit.
hope this helps.
