I have a 2007 E350 PSD extended cargo van. This is my third cargo van, and my first without any windows in the passenger side, side doors. I love this vehicle, but miss the side windows, especially when backing from my driveway, making left turns onto angled streets, and backing from diagonal parking spaces.

Does anyone out there with a windowless van have any secrets, gadgets, mirrors, etc., that makes these manuvers easier. Any ideas will be appreciated.

I feel for you. My kids sometimes close the blinds on those doors and I don't notice until I back out of the driveway and I usually look for something I can use to push them up with so that I don't have to get out and put them up by hand.

Kind of expensive but you could buy one of those backup cameras and mount it on the side.

The 78 cargo I drove for a flower shop had a full window in the sliding door but maybe they ordered it that way 'cause it also had rear windows.

I replaced the glass in my right side mirror with a convex replacement. The wider view helps a little.

Get a side mirror extender - they slip over the exisiting miior and extend out 3-4 " - makes a big difference. I got mine a local camper/trailer shop= $30
