hey guys my in 2000 auto 3.0 ranger the trans started slipping, the truck shaked alot when driving, i had no reverse and when i put the truck in neutral i could drive. i put a trans from the junkyard in but... i can only drive a few miles before i start to experience the same exact problems as before.

I tried driving with overdrive off and everything is fine, i have reverse and in neutral the truck does not drive.

can anyone please help me understand why this might be happening?

i am afraid that if there is something wrong and i continue to dirve with overdrive off i could break something in the transmission or engine.

 

did you replace the tourque convertor? Or drain and refill it or not?
