97 Buick Regale ABS light
This ones got me puzzled and trying to avoid taking it to the dealer.
My moms car is a 97 Buick Regale, lately its been triggering an ABS light, which then turns traction control off and the service vehicle soon light on. I have tried hooking up my generic OBDII reader, but it dosnt seem to recognize any problem.. (I think its only effective on the check ENGINE lights). Anyway,
It seems to be at random, sometimes 3km... sometimes 300km.. sometimes after 500km it wont even come on, sometimes comes on while breaking, sometimes while driving on the highway. Turning the car off and turning it on clears the lights...
And befor anyone askes, yes I have done all the brake work on her car.,
With that being said, I think its a malfunctioning sensor? I dont know much about ABS brakes... Any suggestions that I can try befor taking it in?<o></o>
