Check the brake fluid level. If it's full, take the cap off the resivour and see if the floating switch is floating. If so give it a couple taps, if not that may be you're problem.

E-break is released - it's been pushed in released and few times to see if its stuck - seems fine.

I have the same problem it seem the e break switch is the problem a rubber tip is suppose too hit a push pin (momentary switch)
check if the pinis going all the way up
you can check by looking up under the dash and press the switch with your finger and see if the light goes out

Just make sure the level is at the full mark. Don't worry about looking for the float switch. It is possible to stick so if it is full a gentle tap might free it up, but I have never had one stick,, so it is possible.

So just fill'er up.

Give the brakes a flush and check the connectors at the e-brake area to see if they are ok
