2001 Navigator Electric Problem
I Just Purchased A Used 2001 Navigator About A Month Ago. I Am Having Some Electrical Problems Showing These Symtoms:
Dash/radio Lights Flickering Bright To Dim ,bright To Dim At Random Times - While This Is Happeing You Hear A Clicking Noise Behind The Dashboard
Headlights Will Flicker On And Off Randomly While Driving - Even When The Headlight Switch Is Turned Off.
The Most Unexplainable Is Tonight I Was Standing In My Driveway Talking With A Neighbor And The Navigator Is Parked In The Garage - Not Running - No Key In Ignition - And The Back Tailights Flashed On And Off About Three Times.
I Had The Dealership Hook Up Electric Brakes A Couple Weeks Ago And Started Noticing Some Of These Problems After That. I Took It Back Today And They Checked It Again And Said It Was Not The Electric Brake Hookup Or A Short From That. They Unhooked The Keyless Door Entry Saying That Might Be The Problem If Moisture Got In To That System, To See If Problem Continued. I Had Not Had Any Problem With That So Far.
Can Anyone Narrow Down Or Identify What Is Causing These Issues?

What is the GEM you are mentioning that could be malfunctioning
