You know that if you change the intake and add exhaust your voiding out your warranty right? My truck has been black flagged due to the removal of the DPF. My friendly dealer wasnt so friendly after the head gasket issues.

And until I see the Oasis I think your full of *****...
haha, your truck brother. If you dont believe me then you should do yourself the favor of checkin with your dealer before you jump into changing the intake and exhaust. Otherwise you'll be sittin in the same boat as I. Diffrence is I have the coin to continue to play........
Im happy for ya, but your "mod" friendly dealer wont be so when it comes to warranty time. Ford Techs cant warranty work on modded trucks. I thought I had a "mod" friendly dealer like you but when it came push come to shove they dropped me like a bad habbit. The same will happen to you, just give it time. FoMoCo clearly states that any mod to the exhaust, intake, or adding of an A/M chip or tuner will void your powertrain warranty. So if your warranty dosnt matter to you then mod the heck out of it. On the other hand if it is something you'd like to keep then you best look into your ideas of warranty safe "mods" some more. Best of luck

I have to agree with steve on this. I brought my truck into the dealer for some issues they needed to fix back from when i bought it. While it was there the check engine light came on and they said they would fix it. My tech called me and said i had 13 codes from the MAFS, 2 from the EGR valve and 20 codes due to no pressure from one of the regen sensors. I have the stage 2 AFE intake and a cat back MBRP exhaust. My tech rep told me to take all the aftermarket parts off and bring it back before he torn into it. He cleared the codes and let me go with a slap on the fingers. He said there to flag any moded trucks that come through the shop. He stated the same thing steve has stated, Ford is taking a no tolerance stance on any mod's to the pcm, air or exhaust.
The systems are extremly sensitive and dont like change. Take this for what it is, and good luck on your mod's.
Bad news, the dealer the truck was going to be transfered in from would not allow the transfer. Found another one, minus the sunroof but loaded other than that. They are trying to get it as we speak, its only about an hour away so we will see what happens.

I respectfully disagree with you about the "friendly" dealer comment. Actually...the dealer is being extremely "friendly" to FORD...and in this case rightfully so.
You remove a "key" component from the truck...YOU should expect to be dropped and black flagged. Good job dealership for saving FORD the warranty expense! It appears they learned there lessons from the 6.0L PSD mod hungry crowd.
