wont start checked everything
i have a 1987 300 efi and it was running great when not idleing but when it was idleing it would drop down to 500rpms and sometimes stall out. i read a post that this might be the tps air bypas valve to i took off throttlebody and i cleaned it and now it wont start. it rotates, wont start on starter fluid, has spark fuel pumps work timing is goodwhat could be the problems

Worked before and don't work now--Hummmmm ------ Go back over what you did. Did you remove the TPS sensor ??? if so, Did you adjust it when you replaced it??? Did you remove the Idle air control valve????? Did you replace the gaskets with new , especially the throttle body gasket ????? Did you replace all the electrical plugs and vac lines????? There is not a great deal to the throttle body and only two parts on it, the TPS and The IAC valve. Not much you can screw up. The IAC isn't stuck open or closed is it??? Did you pull of a vacuume line or wire somewhere by accident--wouldn't be the first time that has happened!!!!!
