Leveling Kit Question
Does anyone know the TRUE dimension (from bottom flat face to top flat face) of the 1.5", 2", or 2.5" autospring leveling kits? I ask because I am adding the stock rearend 4x4 spacer to my 2x4 truck. The spacer measures 1-15/16" and I would like to be sure that the leveling kit I order is at least that height, if not more. I have read on here, for example, that the 2" kit is not 2" after all. The 2" kit is the height required to raise the bumper 2", which is something like 1-5/8". Well since I will be raising both ends of my truck, the only height I will achieve on the front end is the actual height of the kit. Hopefully this is not too confusing or I might have to draw a picture.

I checked with autospring and they confirmed that their leveling kits are 1-9/16" and 1-5/8", for the 2" and 2.5" kits, respectively. So basically, if I install the 1-15/16" rear block and a 2.5" front leveling kit, the rear of my truck will sit and additional 5/16" HIGHER compared to the front. And that is at the wheel wells. The bumper will be a even higher. Not exactly the way I wanted to go.
So now I ask, what is the difference between the 2x4 front suspension and the 4x4 front suspension, in terms of ride height?
