The Ex is a fine ride. I have no complaints at all about the ride quality. Also, the tranny shifts fine, the AC blows cold like the north of winter and it stops straight and true. 11,000 miles and I haven't had any troubles at all (even gets 20mpg on a trip).

Rides as nice as any Cadillac I've ever driven, and as mentioned above has one of the tightest turning radius' I've ever seen on a vehicle this big. That's a bonus I didn't realize until I'd owned it for a week or two.

I have the EL model and I'm pretty sure this thing has a tighter turning radius than the mini pickup truck I owned years ago.

I compared this to the Suburban and GMC Yukon Denali before I bought it. While I really was leaning toward the Denali, price became the factor.

The power folding seats in the rear and the fact I could easily slide a 4X8 sheat of plywood in the rear and close the door (power, by the way) clinched it for me. I got the EL, Eddie Bauer Package, Towing Package and still came in 10+ grand under the Denali, and the Suburban didn't even compare, IMO.
