Question Locking Fuel Cap?

Does anyone run a locking gas(diesel) cap? Does Ford make an OEM locking cap for our trucks. Im thinking of getting one but i dont want a POS that the key and lock will wear out or **** me off every time i get fuel.

A locking gas cap will only pi$$ you off and not stop a gas theif...

If they find a locked cap they will just punch a hole in the gas tank..IMHO.

Benny, After Katrina when I was doing recovery work and people were putting stuff in tanks to disable trucks so they could steal loads, I bought one from Orielleys and have been using it ever since. It has held up great. I think it was about $10-15. make sure you tell them its for a diesel
